What can be mistaken for pudendal neuralgia?
Common conditions that could mimic pudendal neuralgia include:

Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction

Piriformis Syndrome

Ischial Bursitis

Interstitial Cystitis (IC) (an urgent need to urinate)

Chronic or non-bacterial Prostatitis (inflammation of prostate gland)

Prostatodynia (prostatitis symptoms without the condition)

Vulvodynia (chronic pain condition of the vulva lasts more than 3 months, no known cause)

Vulvar Vestibulitis syndrome (aka adenitis or focal vulvitis characterized by entry dyspareunia, discomfort at the opening of the vagina)

Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome CPPS (Pain in the area below the belly button and between the hips that lasts six months or longer):
Symptoms: Internal and/or external such as uterus ache, vaginal bleeding or
discharge, as well as fever, nausea, vomiting, sweating, and/or dizziness)
Causes: Endometriosis, Uterine Fibroid's.
